  1. I’m so pleased to have found a site as wonderful as yours, It is something I am really looking for!!
As I want to start of in aerospace engineering and then become an astronaut. At the moment I’m taking a gap year so if you have any amazing opportunities that may put me ahead of the game please share, thank you!!

    1. Hi Anisa! I’m glad that you found the site and thank you for your comments! I’ll be adding content soon with information on new opportunities or organisations that might help anyone wanting to enter the industry. So keep tuned!

  2. What a great site!! It is about time we women engineers get recognized. I am a rare Systems Test Engineeer who worked on the S-IC (first) Stage of the Saturn V at Michoud, La. during Apollo.
Oh, how I miss Sally Ride and Neil Armstrong!
I am on Facebook and Twitter and other websites. Just search for “Sara Howard.”
I published a book, “Something Funny Happened on the Way to the Moon” in 2011. It is for sale on Amazon and other sites. I received a nice review from one of the Smithsonian’s reviewers and they included my book in the Smithsonian Library. I am now working on my 2nd Apollo book.
I love to speak to folks and I spoke to the Naval Academy in 2008. I love to speak to any space fans.
I am really a nobody and I live in Columbia, SC. There were very few women engineers working on Apollo.

    Good for you Vinita!

    1. Hi Sara! Thank you for your wonderful comments! The work that you did was completely innovative and today in the industry we’re following the footsteps of women such as yourself. I’d love to get in touch with you and hear more about your story and projects that you worked on. I’ll definitely have a look at your book too! Thanks again!

  3. Well done Vinita, your family and friends must be very proud of what you have achieved in such a short space of time – no pun intended !! 🙂
